Gravenhurst, Ontario: This year’s Gravenhurst Santa Claus Parade is set to return on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019.

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. heading out from the corner of Muskoka Road South and Veterans’ Way before proceeding down Muskoka Road as far as Victoria Street.

Each year about 50 floats participate in the parade. The Chamber appreciates the time and energy required to build some of these fabulous floats so there is NO fee to participate. There is even a Hope Floats award given to the best float. Each float must register in order to take part.

Afterward, Santa himself and Mrs. Claus will be available to meet the young ones (and the young at heart) at a location to be determined.  The Gravenhurst Lions Club is organizing the visit with Santa once again.

The Gravenhurst Scouts will again be collecting cash donations in order to help cover the costs of the parade. Many generous sponsors help make the parade possible.

The Gravenhurst Fire Department is also hoping everyone is in the giving spirit. Firefighters are asking those who are able, to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the parade, where firefighters will collect them along the route. They will be donated to the Salvation Army.

The parade is coordinated by the Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce with support from the Town of Gravenhurst
