Attilio’s Fine foods
We have orchards in Italy where we go every year for harvest season. We pick all the olives by hand and without the use of machinery, pesticides or herbicides. We only do a extra virgin cold press for our olive oil. We also do all of our own bottling and labeling. Our aged balsamic vinegar is imported from Modena, Italy and we take great care in selecting the best quality for the best price. Our home made pasta sauce, pasta kids and risotto mixes are a great compliment to our olive oil as well as our olives and antipasti. Prices range from $30 to $8.
Attilio’s Olive Oil and Fine Foods
Our family comes from the village of Veroli, south of Rome in the abundant Lazio region – where to this day good food is a religion. While we’re a first generation Canadian family, our father Attilio used to spend part of the year in Veroli cultivating his olives in the family orchard. It’s these very olives that we press into oil and bring to your table here in Ontario. Carrying on the family tradition of cultivating, harvesting and pressing olives has been a labour of love that our father Attilio has passed on to us, his children.
Aurora Light Sculptures
"Reeds and weaving cane become the skeleton of the light sculpture and wrap around or through the wood base. This is the most crucial process since the piece has to be appealing from all sides…I might walk away dissatisfied from a piece and come back a few days later and just know what the missing factor is. The next step is applying the layers of paper that will give the light sculptures their durability. Each piece is applied until there are about 10 layers so the finished piece is quite study. These light sculptures are time consuming labours of love. A light sculpture may take 5 to 50 hours from start to finish depending on their size and intricacy. My prices start at $150."

Generational Design Works
"Our wall clock originated in 2016 from a variety of design attempts that would result in a marketable "product". The product had to fit three criteria - be beautiful, be functional and have a multitude of design options. After selling out at our first major show, we knew that our clocks were the one. The design has evolved over the past year, with the addition of new styles and standard sizes. We feature the clock in five sizes ranging from 18" to 34" diameter in four wood species native to Ontario: black walnut, maple, cherry, and ash. As a member of Ontario Wood, we believe in supporting the local economy and ecology by using negative carbon material that is milled largely as a result of the metro expansion, storm damage or disease".

Karen Bernard Paper Art
"Ottawa born, I am a graduate of the Graphic Arts Printing program at Algonquin College and worked in this field for 32 years before making my paper art a full-time endeavor. I experimented with a variety of media before discovering the beauty of hand-made paper. With its flexibility, paper permits me to do more than decorate a flat surface. It inspires me to create three-dimensional sculptures breaking through the barriers of two-dimensional design. The unique properties and forms created by paper have no counterpart. This art form allows the freedom to leave the flat surface and return to the world of depth. My perceptions of our world are expressed in the precise intricate motion of each piece". Myrhanda McKay, Fine Art
I'm a self-taught artist. I paint in oil on wood panels that I make myself. I also paint on other various wood surfaces such as log or branch ends and live edge wood slabs. I mainly paint the Muskoka/Georgian Bay landscape scenery, such as sunsets along the bay or at cottages, and bush scenery. I used to do equine art, however with the location I moved to from Creemore... it's a little difficult to find horses. I am new on the scene, but am confident in my work. My work is priced around the $1/sq.in mark. I like to paint large pieces, but I also have varying smaller sizes too.
Hand carved wildlife wood carvings, including owls, loons, cardinal, hummingbird, sparrow, chickadees, wolves, bears, beavers. Carved in hardwood, softwood, and burls. these pieces are made into ornaments, wall plaques, cake toppers, and carvings on bases. Bases include banksia pods, limestone, burls, and hardwood.

I also volunteered and enjoyed painting murals on the glass at the Centennial Centre and other buildings in the town of Gravenhurst for 8 years".

The pepper grinders and lids for the mason jar coffee grinders are turned using a lathe and chisels making each piece unique in both its pattern and wood species. After I turn the grinders, I sand them smooth and then finish them using numerous coats to give them a shiny finish. The other style of coffee grinder I make uses box joints. After cutting the sides for box joints, the sides are glued together and sanded. The tops and bottoms are cut out, routed, sanded and then glued to the sides. The box is finished with numerous coats of shellac. The drawer for the box is also made.
