On Oct. 3 Gravenhurst voters will get the chance to hear from the candidates first hand at the Gravenhurst Opera House.
The Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce is organizing an All Candidates Meeting, which will take place from 6 until 8:30 pm.
“It’s important to make informed decisions about those who will represent us for the next four years,” says Sandy Lockhart, the executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. “Come out and meet the candidates and listen to their answers.”
Voters will have their chance to hear from the candidates in a question and answer format and then meet them afterwards.
The questions for each candidate have been submitted by members of the public and were then selected by a committee.
All of the Gravenhurst candidates for Town and District council have been invited to attend, as well as the nominees for school board trustee.
Acclaimed mayor Paul Kelly will be on hand to speak with those in attendance.
The candidates will remain at the Opera House following the formal portion of the event for a face-to-face question and answer session with the public in Trillium Court.
The Chamber appreciates the support of lead sponsor Lakelands Association of Realtors and media partners from Muskoka 411, MooseFM, YourTV Muskoka, Muskokaregion.com and Hunter’s Bay Radio.
